I teach civil engineering at Trinity State University since 1988, and supervised 57 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Shilpa
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Shilpa: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
