I've coached football at San Francisco Baobab Sports Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Shilpa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
