Shilpa E. Dhawan
Chemistry teacher at Mangaluru Secondary School, 1978 to 1988

For ten years I was the chemistry teacher at Mangaluru Secondary School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Shilpa: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

I was in your teenagers class in 2002. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Sakai.
