Shelly-Ann C. Stephenson

23 years teaching early years in Half-Way Tree

  • 🇯🇲 Half-Way Tree, Saint Andrew, Jamaica
  • Cedar Grove Middle School
  • 1978 to 2010
  • English, French
I taught early years at Cedar Grove Middle School in Half-Way Tree from 1978 to 2010. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You taught me early years in 2024 at Cedar Grove Middle School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Thank you again.
