For 43 years I've run the chess program at Quezon City Athletic Club in Quezon City. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Sheila
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Sheila: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
