Sheila F. Mendoza
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Acacia Works
- 2003 to 2014
- English
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 2003 in Makati and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
More about Sheila
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
