Shefali Rahima Ali
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Sheffield, England, United Kingdom
- The Lotus Works
- 1988 to 2010
- English, Bengali, Spanish
I've worked in pottery from 1988 to 2010. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 700 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Shefali
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
