Shefali Mondal
Rugby coach, Savar Eastgate Community Club
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- 1980 to 2016

For 36 years I ran the rugby program at Savar Eastgate Community Club in Savar. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Shefali
If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Shefali: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
