For nine years I was the history teacher at Harmony Technical College. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Shazia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shazia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
