I've coached softball at Fayetteville Sakura Youth Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Shawn
If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Shawn: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
