Shawn R. Robinson
Volunteer mentor with Oakland Community Trust
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Community Trust
- 2005 to 2015
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 600 people through Oakland Community Trust.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Shawn
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Shawn: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
