Volunteer mentor with Fairview Youth Network
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- Fairview Youth Network
- 1988 to 1999
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 410 people through Fairview Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
What gifts mean to Shawn: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
