Shawn D. Hayes

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇿 Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand
  • Wellington Boxing Gym
  • Since 2001
  • English, French
I've coached boxing at Wellington Boxing Gym since 2001. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
