I taught history at Highland Boys' School in Manukau from 2012 to 2023. Most days I taught Year 9, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm still learning every day.

More about Shawn

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
