I've spent 22 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Heritage State University in Leeds. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Sharon
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Sharon: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
