For ten years I was the home economics teacher at San Francisco High School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Sharon: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
