Sharmin Tahmina Banerjee
Home economics teacher at Gateway Primary School, Since 2018

For eight years I have been the home economics teacher at Gateway Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Sharmin: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me home economics in 2023 at Gateway Primary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me home economics in 2025 at Gateway Primary School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
