I'm a musician from New Delhi. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Sharmila
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Sharmila: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
