I taught computer science at Valley View Middle School in Tiruchirappalli from 1997 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 1,460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Sharmila: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
