Sharmila Nargis Islam
Children's librarian in Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Archive
- Since 2002
- English, Bengali
I've worked at Dhaka Archive since 2002. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
More about Sharmila
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Sharmila: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
