English literature and accounting teacher, Savar

- English, Bengali, Spanish
I taught English literature at Sakura Academy in Savar from 2004 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Shapla
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shapla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
