Shapla Tahmina Sarker

Painter, potter and teacher at The Parkside Studio

  • 🇮🇳 Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India
  • The Parkside Studio
  • Since 1996
  • English, Bengali
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1996 at The Parkside Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Shapla

I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
