Shapla Salma Karim

Self-taught oil painting artist

  • 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
  • The Riverside Studio
  • 1990 to 2023
  • English, Bengali, Spanish
I got into oil painting as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day. I also teach a weekly class at The Riverside Studio, which keeps me honest.

More about Shapla

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
