For 20 years I was the physical education teacher at Highland Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,040 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Shapla
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shapla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
