I teach home economics at Bamboo Middle School in Savar since 1989. Most days I teach teenagers, and my door is open at lunch.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
