Shapla Bithi Biswas
Spanish and physics teacher, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Westbrook Middle School

For 16 years I was the Spanish teacher at Westbrook Middle School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Shapla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
