Shantel Facey

Computer science and geography teacher, Kingston

  • 🇯🇲 Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica
  • Kingston Secondary School
  • Since 1995
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.

More about Shantel

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shantel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
