I taught physics and economics at Madurai Primary School, Madurai. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 1,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Shankar
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Shankar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
