Shanice M. Pienaar
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Cape Town Studio
- 🇿🇦 Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
- Old Cape Town Studio
- Since 1988
- English, Afrikaans
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 1988 at Old Cape Town Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Shanice: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 1988. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Saint Paul.
