Shan Qian Peng
French and design and technology teacher, Durham
- 🇺🇸 Durham, North Carolina, United States
- Durham Public School
- Since 1996
- English, Spanish
Durham Public School is my second home. I teach French there since 1996, mostly the final-year class.
Over the years I've had 960 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Shan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Shan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
