For 27 years I have been the history teacher at Tiruchirappalli Middle School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Shakil
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
