I play gospel and traditional drumming. I started in 1998 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Shakil
I write my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Shakil: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
