For 13 years I ran the badminton program at Lahore Stonebridge Football Club in Lahore. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Shaista
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Shaista: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
