For eight years I was the environmental science teacher at Highland Boys' School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Shaista
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
