I've coached hockey at St. Mary's Swimming Club since 2003. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Shaista
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Shaista: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
