Shailesh W. Ranade

Blacksmithing for 30 years in Pune

  • 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
  • Little Atlas Trades Guild
  • 1994 to 2024
  • English, Marathi
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1994 to 2024. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,350 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Shailesh: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
