Shailesh N. Modi

Self-taught oil painting artist

  • 🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
  • Little Nagpur Art Collective
  • Since 1995
  • English, Gujarati
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1995 at Little Nagpur Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I'm learning the guitar. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Shailesh

I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
