Shailesh B. Thakkar

Painter, potter and teacher at Silverlake Art Collective

I work mostly in jewelry, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1978 at Silverlake Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I always make time for a proper cup of tea. My studio is always a bit of a mess. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

I bought one of your pieces in 2009. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Jaffna.
