Shahana Shima Akter
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Nashik, Maharashtra, India
- Andes Trades Guild
- Since 1999
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1999 in Nashik and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
More about Shahana
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Shahana: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
