Shahana Runa Akter

14 years teaching special education in Chattogram

  • 🇧🇩 Chattogram, Chattogram, Bangladesh
  • Chattogram Public School
  • Since 1999
  • English, Bengali
I teach special education at Chattogram Public School in Chattogram since 1999. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I've had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Shahana

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
