Shahana Nipa Sheikh
Teacher at Savar Grammar School, loves English literature
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Savar Grammar School
- Since 1984
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Shahana
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Shahana: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me English literature in 2014 at Savar Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Greetings from Los Angeles.
