Shahana Joya Khan
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Gazipur Repairs
- Since 2011
- English, Bengali, French
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2011. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 500 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Shahana
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Shahana: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
