Welding, done properly
- 🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India
- Little Queensway Workshop
- 1992 to 2002
- English, Bengali
I've worked in welding from 1992 to 2002. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 250 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Shafiq
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Shafiq: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
