Shafiq Khatun
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
- Beacon Works
- Since 2009
- English, Bengali
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 2009 in Manchester and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Shafiq: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
