I'm a musician from Lagos. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Seyi
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Seyi: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.

I still have the recording from that night at Oakwood Ensemble! Truly.
