For 21 years I ran the tennis program at Istanbul Swimming Club in Istanbul. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Sevgi
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Sevgi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
