I taught history at Kyiv Grammar School in Kyiv from 1995 to 2009. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Serhiy: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
