Sergio N. Chávez
Retired environmental science teacher from Bamboo High School
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- 1981 to 1995
- English, Spanish
I taught environmental science and Spanish at Bamboo High School, Fresno. I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sergio
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sergio: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2012 at Bamboo High School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays
