I taught accounting at Fairview Boys' School in Auckland from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never once raised my voice. Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
