Serenity S. Schneider
Oil painting artist in Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Art Collective
- Since 1984
- English, Spanish
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1984 at Bakersfield Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Bakersfield Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Serenity
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Serenity: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
